Battle of the manifestos: TDP vs. YSRCP

On the occasion of Ugadi, TDP and YSRCP released their respective manifestos. Both of the manifestos are elaborate and have several promises. Now how many of them will be fulfilled, only time will answer that. Also, it depends on who will come into power. In the last five years, Chandrababu Naidu has fulfilled almost all the promises made by him before the 2014 election. Therefore, it is safe to assume that he would do so this time as well. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was never a CM of the state, so we can’t predict whether he will fulfill them or not.

Chandrababu Naidu 2017.jpg

The TDP manifesto, Mee Bhavishyattu Naa Badhyatha, includes most of the existing schemes with slight changes in them. Like, the Chandranna Bheema scheme ceiling is increased to ₹10 lakh from ₹5 lakh. The free electricity supply for farmers has increased to 12 hours from 9 hours. Old age pension has increased to ₹3,000 from ₹2,000 and the eligibility age is decreased to 60 years from 65 years. The unemployment allowance is increased to ₹3,000 from ₹2,000 and those who have passed intermediate are also eligible to receive this allowance. Interest-free loans for farmers, with no credit limit. Further, some new schemes and programmes are introduced, and the manifesto targets the holistic development of the state. It focuses on agriculture, farmers, weavers, youth, DWCRA women, minorities, SC, ST, BC, industries, IT, health care, and education. Since, most of the schemes are already existing and fulfilled by the government, it can be concluded that those included in the manifesto will be implemented.

The YSRCP manifesto, Ravali Jagan Kavali Jagan, majorly includes the previously announced Navaratnalu or the nine promises and few new schemes are added. The promises made in the manifesto include: 9 hours of free day-time electricity for farmers, interest-free loans for farmers, free borewells for farmers, ₹1 per unit electricity electricity for aqua farmers, ₹3,000 pension for the old (60 years and above,) ₹1,150 crore fund for agri gold victims, Amma Vodi scheme for child education, YSR aasara for DWCRA women, and ₹7 lakh insurance for families of farmers who have committed suicide. Like TDP, YSRCP manifesto also focuses on aspects like agriculture, health care, employment, backward classes, and education.

However, the major talking points of YSRCP manifesto are: three-stage alcohol ban and the universal health/ Aarogyasri schemes. Previous governments have tried to impose a liquor ban and have failed. Therefore, its viability factor is questionable. Under the new Aarogyasri scheme, individuals with an annual income of up to ₹5 lakhs can claim the benefits of the scheme for any medical expenses over ₹1000 rupees and can access health care in any part of the country. This is a huge promise made by Jagan and experts are questioning its feasibility. Because to implement the schemes promised by YSRCP, the government needs around ₹1.5 lakh crores and if Jagan wins and allies with the BJP, the state will not even receive quarter of the amount required. If the state will take a loan to fulfill the promises, the taxpayers will have to bear the brunt of it. Also, pumping in huge budgets into one scheme requires cutting down on others. In addition to that, there is a scope of misuse of public funds by hospitals. Most of the private hospitals might deliberately increase the billing amount above ₹1,000 and try to mint money. Therefore, YSRCP manifesto is too good to be real.

Latest Survey on AP Politics 2019

Chandra Babu Naidu

India is experiencing the festival of Democracy. This is the biggest festival of democracy in the whole word as India is the biggest democratic country. The general Lok-Sabha elections are being held in 7 phases from April 11th till May 19th. However, the election code is on from March 10th, the day the ECI (Election Commission of India) announced the poll schedule, in the whole nation. General Assembly elections are also being held in 11 states. Politicians began applying their mind to win the elections in any cost. Each party is very busy with preparing manifestos, campaigning strategies, candidate selections, advertisements, etc. The first phase of election is being held on 11th of April in 5 states including Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh is the biggest state among those going for assembly elections. It is one of the states who play quite a crucial role in the national politics. The state is now being led by the India’s most senior politician Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu of Telugu Desam Party. On April 11th, they are going to test their luck along with the opposition parties YSR Congress party led by Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party led by Telugu’s most popular actor Pawan Kalyan. Everybody is putting their every bit of resources into the elections to come into power.
While leaders are quite busy with impressing the voters in their particular constituencies, the people are quite busy with predicting the winners and losers. Every common man has their own predictions based on their logics and reasons. But, they also look for the predictions by expert Psephologists, which are known to be ‘Opinion Polls’.
The Latest survey on AP politics 2019 is the Opinion polls by ‘News X’, the leading news channel in India. It has come up with interesting figures. The survey tells that the current party which is in power, Telugu Desam Party is leading in the state with 47% of vote share where all other parties are lagging behind. This purely depicts that the Telugu Desam Party is going to form the government again in the state of Andhra Pradesh with good majority.  This is a very good sign for both the party and the state before the elections.
One of the questions posed by the survey is “who according to you is best suited to be the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh?” and 46% of the people responded Chandra Babu Naidu. It doesn’t come to me as a surprise because Telugu people belong to one of the most informed and intellectual lots of India. They do not have a trouble looking at and comparing the curriculum vitae of the candidates running for the chair.
Here is a brief summary of Chandrababu Naidu’s experience so far. He was a student union leader by the age 25 and was an MLA by 28. His thoughts and leadership attracted traction from hierarchy of his party, but he had to leave because of internal politics and other issues. His father in law gave him a place in TDP and there, CBN found his voice.
A decade later, a woman called Lakshmi parvati approached NTR to record his biography. It isn’t hard for a woman to speak certain way, to act certain way and to roll eyes and waist certain way and entice a man they want for themselves. She saw power and wealth and respect and charisma, all encapsulated in one man, Nandamuri Rama Rao. Nobody knows what happened between them, except the fact that they got married. And soon, she, with her female charm and men-luring ability, got hold of the most powerful and popular party of then Andhra Pradesh, the TDP, by subtly manipulating the emotional support and care starved NTR.
CBN saw the future of the party and the state falling into the hands of a manipulative snake, he had to take a step for what it’s worth. Lakshmi’s agenda is now clear to every top official in the party, she is now on a race to CM and NTR is her slave already. NTR wouldn’t listen to anyone except Lakshmi. Party is about to get jeopardized and CBN took the initiative. He collected support form MLA’s and became the CM and the rest is history. Opposition party uses this incident in almost every campaign to bring down CBN’s credibility. Everyone knows the truth, it’s just the fact that common people are sheep and are bound to go places where their shepherd takes them.
Since that day, CBN made pals with bill Clinton, Bill Gates, presidents and prime ministers of Indonesia, Japan, Korea and many powerful people across the world. All chief ministers across the country know him and their support is only a call away. Where does Jagan stand against this experience? Nobody even knew him until his father died. And like every rich spoilt brat out there he un-ashamedly uses his father’s name to further his political career. It is just similar to saying, ”Hey you know what? My dad used to rub his ass with silk. Here, touch my ass and see how smooth it is.”
There are bigger players out there like Modi, Amit shah, Sonia Gandhi among others. Lets assume Jagan became a chief minister and he goes to one of them asking funds to develop the state. The first time, they may politely reject him. They show a little disrespect the next time he asks for funds. There won’t be a third time because, how hard it is for a prime minister to open up a new case against the “insignificant speck of dust” Jagan and make him eat Jail food? How hard it is for them to pull his strings and make him scratch his head in the face of uncertainty? Can he summon help from powerful leaders of other states? Does he even know them? And meanwhile, just imagine what can happen to the new born infant Andhra Pradesh under his screwed up and direction less leadership.
Even if none of that happened, nothing good can be expected from Jagan’s rule. Just look at his policies, there is never a mention of vision or development. All he does is hurl abuses at CBN and talk about distributing tax payer money to expectant poor. That is not how an opposition leader in race to becoming chief minister should be talking. He says “I heard you, I am there for you” in his public meeting but how come he never mentioned people’s distress in assembly. Oh, I forgot, one has to go to assembly to express opinions right. How can one go to assembly if he is so busy sitting at lotus pond and trying to come up with new abuses towards CBN?
Most people in Andhra Pradesh are educated, most of them know right from wrong, good from bad. This simple fact reflected in the survey that 46% people think CBN should be the next CM of the state.

WHO WILL BE THE AP CM IN 2019?

The absolute answer from every citizen of Andhra Pradesh for this question is Shri. Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Nara ChandraBabu Naidu
While they answer this, they are very sure of reasons also. Listed below are the reasons mentioned by citizens of AP.
For a person to become CM of any state, He/she need to be efficient in 3 main aspects:

  •            Financial Managament
  •       Welfare and Administration
  •        Law and Order

A Person who can efficiently handle these three, can become the CM of a state and administer it well for the upcoming 5 year term.
For 2019 in AP, three parties are contesting in the elections.

  •        Telugu Desam Party (TDP)
  •        YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)
  •        Janasena Party (JSP)

As three parties are contesting, their respective chiefs are contesting for the CM seat of Andhra Pradesh. Though three persons are in the race for CM position, the competition is in just between TDP chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and YSCRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.Being said this; people compared these two persons’ efficiency in the above mentioned three aspects.
Financial Management:
a.  Chandra Babu Naidu: He studied M.A. in economics. He has been applying his studies in the real time and managing the state to be in good financial position. For this, the revenue of the state should be higher than the expenditure of the state. During the Bifurcation, the residual Andhra Pradesh state has been left with a revenue deficit of 16,000Crores of rupees. To cover it up, the state should gain new industries in order to increase the revenues. He has brought several industries and set up in Andhra Pradesh in these 5 years. Now, the debt of the Andhra Pradesh came down by 10% while the neighboring state Telangana’s, which is left with surplus budget, debt is up by 9%. This is a clear example of his financial management skills.b.  Jagan Mohan Reddy: While the later proved his efficiency and skills in Financial Management and good for the state, this person, the chief of YSRCP proved his efficiency and skills in Financial frauds. He has been convicted in 13 cases as A1 for the financial frauds committed in his dad’s regime. The total value of the fraud is 1 lakh Crores rupees. The cases were charged by CBI, ED, and other financial fraud Investigation agencies. He has committed breach of Insider information, Money Laundering, Misusing the power of his father when he was CM.
The person who could commit unacceptable financial frauds when he was not in the power, the same person would become No.1 in the world if given power. So, the people of AP wisely chosen Nara ChandraBabu Naidu when asked the question “who will be AP CM in 2019”.
Welfare and Administration: a.       Chandra Babu Naidu: The first term as chief minister of new state of Andhra Pradesh, he has come up with unexpected no. of welfare schemes to make people happy. Popular schemes of those are: Pasupu-Kumkuma for Women, Yuvanestham for Youth, Annadatha Sukhibhava for Farmers, 2000 rupees of pension for Old age people, NTR vaidya seva for poor etc., These welfare schemes have brought fame for the current government and current CM, Chandra Babu Naidu.
Administration is making sure the whole organizational system throughout the state running softly without any hindrances. Administration is making sure the schemes reach to the common public without fail and people get benefitted out of the schemes introduced. Administration is making the government agencies corrupt-free and the requests of the citizens are resolved within time. This has been proven by current government. People are very happy about his Administration. He has kept all his 40 years of political experience in order to administer the state well. He is known for the discipline and always strive to incorporate in every level of the state administrationb.      Jagan Mohan Reddy: While the latter striving for making the state corrupt-free and No.1 in India, this person is known for his corruption, Misusing of power and Indiscipline.  This person has forced the IAS officres in his father’s regime as CM to sign on the MOUs which is illegal. Then officers had no choice as they were threatened to death if not signed. Corruption was in peaks during their regime. Officers of every level earned much money from bribes. There was no control by the government as the corruption is headed by this person Jaganmohan Reddy.
People are well aware of what bad he have done to the state and well aware of what good CBN has done for the state in his 15 years of tenure as chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. So, people have chosen Chandrababu Naidu as their person to be the CM when they were asked the question “Who will be the AP CM in 2019”.Law and Order
This is most important aspect among three though each aspect has got its importance. People can lead life though the other aspects are not fulfilled. But when the Law and Order is disturbed in the state, people can’t lead peaceful life as there will be threat in the state every minute. So, this has to be controlled and monitored in order to maintain the peace in the state every second in the state. Failure in this will lead to turbulence in the state. The best example for this is the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The citizens in J&K experience the threat of killing every second. They don’t lead peaceful lives. This is purely because of the inefficiency of government to maintain the law and order perfectly. Let’s see who of the two can maintain Law and Order efficiently.a.       Chandra Babu Naidu: In his term of 15 years as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, the law and order was never disturbed in the state. He organized the police department very well to maintain the peace and discipline in the state. He never tolerated the breach of law and order. He took several hard actions against those people who damages the peace in the state. He spares no one even their own party people. He is disciplined and he incorporates the same in the state.b.      JaganMohan Reddy: YS JaganMohan Reddy and his family is known for the faction in Rayalaseema region. They murdered many people as part of their faction. His grandfather, Raja Reddy is known as famous faction leader in the rayalaseema. He have committed every crime like murder, Land grabbing, Rapes, etc. The same ideology is adopted by Jagan as he is also involved in many murders, especially Parital Ravi’s murder. Their MLAs also are involved in many murders, theft, forgery etc.
People of Andhra Pradesh chosen Chandrababu Naidu when they were asked this question “Who will be AP CM in 2019”. They answered “Are we fools to choose the devil into Rule?”
So, there is the perfect answer Mr. Chandrababu Naidu is going to win the upcoming elections with bumper majority and become the CM again.

Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?

There is no doubtful or confused answer for this question from the people. That is “ABSOLUTELY YES”

Hearing such answer from the people; we dug deeper for the reasons which are put in the later story.
Current Andhra Pradesh is the piece left out with the revenue deficit in 2014 by then central government. Everybody knows the bifurcation is an injustice to the current state. It left the people of Andhra Pradesh with no capital, no institutes, no revenue, etc. This made the people of Andhra Pradesh to elect Mr. Chandrababu Naidu as the first chief minister of residual Andhra Pradesh. People recollected his 40 years of experience, his administration skills, his hard and smart working style, his previous achievements, his dedication towards development, etc., which are much needed for the newer capital less state.
Now, it’s 2019, the time for another election festival in Andhra Pradesh. Every citizen in AP is busy predicting the winners and losers, seats each party wins. But, when someone asks this question who is winning next to the people, most of them answering TDP is the next winner though there is tough fight from the opposition parties Y S Jagan led YSR Congress and Actor turned Politician led Janasena. Everyone admits that the opposition parties in AP have been working hard in their style and gained a lot of traction in the people.
In the September, 2018 many surveys have come out saying the oppositions have edge in this time elections. Then the question among the people was “who is winning the elections in 2019?” but, the people came out from that influence of paid surveys and realized the hard work put by Mr. CBN and the question now turned out to be “will TDP win elections in 2019” and “with what majority of seats?” and the latest surveys on the elections in AP has given that confidence to the people on TDP.
The reasons we found in our trial are many, but we consolidated all the answers by the people into 5 reasons.

 Here they are:

1.     Development
People are feeling proud of themselves for electing TDP to rule and lead the state of Andhra Pradesh in 2014 and applauding Mr. CBN for proving their decision correct. The development happened in the state compelling people to say so. The state has seen development in every aspect.
a.      Capital City: It’s sad that the state had left with no capital in 2014. People of AP felt very sad. The minute TDP came into ruling it started focusing on building a world-class capital city.  Though there is a chance of staying in Hyderabad for 10 more years, the government took this decision no development can be achieved without this. Steps for the same were taken rapidly. Selected the perfect place for the capital, framed the best land pooling policy ever in the world, recruited the best architects in the world and designed a well-planned and a beautiful capital city. Started building it in the 3rd year of their 5-years of ruling term. Now the capital city is equipped with Assembly, Secretariat, High Court, world-class educational institutions, and many IT companies. The capital city has gotten shape in just 2 years from it started.

b.     Roads and Infrastructure: During this TDP regime from 2014-2018, 23,500 kms of cc roads has been laid, which benefitted almost every village in the state. Many airports were developed. Few of them are: Kurnool, Vizag, Renigunta, Gannavaram, and Nellore. The bus stations were renovated into best bus stations in India. The schools, hospitals were allocated funds to turn them into best class. Digital classrooms in every government school were introduced making poor students also experience the best educational system.

c.      Irrigation: Irrigation was given the highest priority from the day Mr.CBN is in the chair. Worked hard and completed many irrigation projects. Top of them are: Polavaram – 70% compelted in just 4 years, which is a record till now, compelted pattiseema project which brought water to the Rayalaseema and wiped the tears of farmers. Galeru Nagari, Mucchumarri, etc., are a few to name. As of now, 62 projects are ongoing as such, which makes the state GREEN and AGRI-FIRST on completion.

d.     Indutries: Mr. CBN proved himself again as the synonym for attracting the investments and industries to a state. It was happened in last regime till 2004 in combined state of Andhra Pradesh. Then brought Microsoft to the Hyderabad, first time in India and outside of the USA. Such things are repeating now in the current state. Till now, he have attracted industries like HCL, MI Mobiles, Celkon, in IT and Communication sector, Isuzu, KIA, Ashok Leyland, etc., in transportation to the state. KIA is the first ever plant in India and is a proud achievement for a newer state with revenue deficit.

This answers the question “Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?”

2. Welfare:

TDP after came into ruling continued their mark of welfare schemes like 2 rupees Kilo Rice, Aadharana Scheme etc., as they did in previous regime of 1994-2004. Now more such schemes were launched which benefits every section of people: Older people, Unemployment, Women empowerment, Farmers, and Backward Classes.
NTR Bharosa: First time ever in the country, Mr.CBN has launched the pension of Rs.2000/- to the older people who are above 60 years of age under ‘NTR Bharosa’ scheme. This has brought light into their lives as their dependency on their children is eliminated. This empowered older section of people in the state.

Annadatha Sukheebhava: ‘Annadatha Sukheebhava’ scheme is the boon for farmers in the state as they get Rs.15,000 per acre as input credit for the cultivation. This reduces their dependency on loans and make them financially independent and empowered.

Pasupu Kumkuma: The main objective of this scheme to empower the women in the state and make them financially independent to be self-employed. Under this scheme, all eligible applicants get Rs.10,000/- which can be used for starting up a new venture of their idea. This is the most popular scheme in these 5 years among all the government schemes. This the scheme which is directly emotionally connected to the women in the state. This made the women look at Mr.CBN as their brother.

Adarana-2: This scheme is the continuation of Adarana scheme introduced in the previous term of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. Under this scheme, the people of backward classes get working tools based on their occupation on subsidy from the government.

These are a few among many schemes introduced by the TDP government from 2014-19.
These shemes answer the question “Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?”
3.     Crisis management:

Mr. Chandrababunaidu has proven again during this rule that he is unbeaten in the administration skills and Crisis management skills. Best example is the HudHud Cyclone, which affected the financial capital of Andhra Pradesh state in October 2014. It devastated the beautiful city, Roads, Buildings, Power, Transportation, Food everything is affected. Usually, for such huge disasters, any government would take months to restore the situation. But, can you believe for the god sake that Mr. Chandrababu Naidu with his 40 years of experience, impeccable crisis management skills, restored the whole situation in 1 day. This is the proven record of CBN. It is still fresh in the minds of AP people.

At the time of HudHud Cyclone:

After Restoration:

This answers the question “Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?”

4.  Financial Management:

The residual Andhra Pradesh has been left out with revenue deficit of 16,000 crores. Any other person then CBN had been the CM of the state, would have left the state as it is as the no financial resources are with the state. But, the people were wise and chose the right candidate to be the CM of the state. Mr, CBN, who has the proven records of fund raising, raised loans and investments to the state. One among such is the 13,000 crores loan from AIIB (Asian Infrastructure and Investments Bank). The investments raised, the financial health of the state has become well. The debt came down by 10% while the telangana state’s debt has gone up by 9% which was left with abundant budget while bifurcation.

People are still looking for the continuation of these financial measures and will choose Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and his Telugu Desam Party again in 2019.
This answers the question “Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?”
5.     Fight with BJP for implementing the AP Reorganization ACT:

The state of Andhra Pradesh has been deceived and backstabbed by then central government by executing injustice bifurcation to the state. Then opposition party BJP has raised their voice in favor of Andhra Pradesh and demanded then government to come up with AP Re-Organization Act. This mainly stresses on Clearing the Revenue Deficit, Special Category Status, New Railway Zone, Funds for Capital City, etc., but BJP also proved after coming into power that they are no less than Congress Party in cheating the people of AP. The Prime ministerial candidate of BJP in 2014 during campaigning has promised AP people on implementing the AP Re-organization Act. But not even one promise have been fulfilled till date.

They backstabbed AP in terms of Special category Status. They said the SCS is being withdrawn for all the states which are enjoying such status and so, we award special package to AP. They continued the status for North-Eastern states and deceived AP where the whole country is witnessing it. Realizing that, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu withdrawn the support to BJP and came out of NDA protesting the deceit. He held ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’ and fought against the central government. He united all the opposition leaders in national level and brought on one platform and made them question BJP about SCS.

This is still continuing and will definitely achieve the special category status without fail after coming into the power again. He is the only candidate in AP to do so.

Will ChandraBabu Naidu Win 2019 Elections in AP

REASONS WHY CBN SHOULD WIN THE 2019 AP ELECTIONS

Post bifurcation, Andhra Pradesh’s future looked bleak. But now, upon witnessing the development in the state, people have declared it as a ‘Model State’ in India. After seeing the recognition and awards won by the State, national and international observers have lauded the ‘AP Model.’ And the major credit for this goes to Chandrababu Naidu. He worked relentlessly to translate his vision into reality and achieved the nearly impossible. Infact, this is Chandrababu Naidu’s model and every household in AP recognises this fact. Also, the massive industries that are setting up plants in the state agree that this is CBN’s model. The flourishing development in the state is a testament to this fact.

The state was short of resources post division and the people were helpless. They hoped that the Central Government would extend its help and confer the special category status to AP. But that never happened and the people felt betrayed. Despite all the bifurcation difficulties and a budget deficit (₹16,000 crore,) CBN worked with a zeal to develop AP and his determination helped him surpass the hardships. He banked upon his associations and connections and thereby got giant conglomerates to the state. His experience was his weapon and through that he shaped the Sunrise State AP into a leader and a role model.

To build a world class capital an ideal location and land is required. For that, CBN gathered 33,000 acres of land by the means of land pooling. This move was a first in the entire nation and also the first step towards the development of the Sunrise State of AP. Similarly, all the progressive steps and measures taken by CBN’s government are changing the shape of villages and cities.

Agriculture Sector Policies:
CBN has achieved an all-round development. He has driven every field towards progress by the means of his meticulously formulated policies. The agriculture sector has witnessed a growth of 11% and ranks first nation-wide. Further, ₹24,500 crore worth farm loans were waived, a move which created history. As a result of the loan waiver, 35.6 lakh farmers have become loan free. In addition, farmers are also granted nine hours of free electricity, which is a huge relief for poor farmers. The major rivers in the state, Godavari and Krishna were integrated by the Pattiseema project and as a result, life was breathed into numerous acres of farmland.

Electricity Sector Policies:
AP’s electricity sector has bagged 138 awards on a national level in a span of four years. A truly commendable feat. Also, AP ranks first in energy saving. To achieve this, one of the measures taken was to replace the old street lights with LED ones.  Earlier, the state was facing a 22 million units electricity shortage. But it was overcomed in a period of four years and today AP has become an energy surplus state. The State has come a long way from being an energy deficit State to becoming an energy surplus State. Moreover, AP ranks second in providing 100 percent electricity to all households. An investment of ₹36,604 crores was made in the electricity sector, which in turn generated employment opportunities for about 13,000 people. All these achievements would not have been possible without the effective leadership of CBN.

Other Policies:
CBN is an advocate for women empowerment and therefore granted a sum of ₹20,000 to each DWCRA women in order to help them become self-reliant. Under pasupu-kumkuma scheme, ₹20,000 crores was distributed among 93.13 lakh women. Under CBN’s governance, AP has emerged as a winner in various aspects. It stands first in quality of living, ease of doing business, technical employability, and attracting Foreign Direct Investment (FDI.) This has paved way for the establishment of 810 industries in the state. In four years GDP has increased by 54%, which led to an increase in per-capita income. Besides, unemployment rate has reduced from 4.7% in 2014 to 4.2%.
Some of the schemes introduced by CBN were a first in the country. Be it poor people receiving ₹5 lakh bheema under the ‘Chandranna Bheema’ scheme or the enormous increase in the pension amount from ₹200 to ₹2000. Further, the ‘NTR Vaidhya Seva’ scheme ceiling was increased from₹ 2.5 lakh to ₹5 lakh. On one hand students studying abroad are receiving a financial assistance of ₹15 lakhs from the government, while on the other,  ₹2000/month is provided to unemployed youth. In the past 60 years only 7,000 kms of CC roads were laid in the villages. But, in just 4 yrs,  more than 20,000 kms of roads were laid.
All of the above mentioned measures and many more are a part of the successful and progress stimulating CBN Model. Indeed the best model for Andhra Pradesh’s development. Thus, CBN has to come back to power in the upcoming elections for a brighter future of AP.

Will TDP win 2019 elections in AP?

Chandra Babu Naidu

Considering the current context, Chandrababu Naidu have more chances of forming the government again.

Lets understand the strengths of each party

Congress

AP has been the strongest base for congress since independence and had a considerable percentage of core voter base in the state. But it has lost its credibility after the state bifurcation and are no more in the picture. They have lost in all constituencies in 2014 elections and it will be wonder if they can win double digit seats in 2019.

BJP

The people of AP are anguish on BJP for utterly disregarding the promises made and denying the special status for the state which they have promised and announced in their manifesto. Chandrababu is also successful to some extent in conveying the slow down of development activities due to BJP’s non-cooperation and consistent ignoration of the demands. Any party allying with BJP will have to face the grave consequences of loosing the elections.

YSRCP

YSRCP has a strong voter base in the mass and there are enormous ardent followers of the late YSR who will support YSRCP. They lost election in 2014 with a mere 2% votes. Considering the 5 years of TDP govt incumbency, there will be a dissatiscfaction among the people for what ever the reasons apart from Special Status and other issues affecting the voting percentage of TDP .

Jagan’s padayatra has been successful so far and the anti TDP votes have been accumulating towards YSRCP. He had more chances of winning 2019 elections until Pawan Kalyan came into picture.

JanaSena

Pawan Kalyan has a strong following among the youth. He might not get a majority but can be influential in deciding the CM of the state. I believe he is going to reiterate the role of Chiranjeevi in 2004 elections. Chiranjeevi has splitted the anti-Congress votes among PRP and TDP and Congress has been the major beneficiary out of his political entry. TDP lost in more than 30 constituencies with a mere 2000+ votes which would have won if PRP was in-existent.

Let me give an example. Assume 70% votes have been polled. 30% voted for Congress and 40% for TDP, TDP will win. Now Chiranjeevi has started the party. Same 30% voted for Congress, 15% for PRP, 25% for TDP. Congress wins. The voter base for Congress remains same but Chiranjeevi has splitted the anti-votes of the ruling party.

I believe the same is going to repeat with Pawan Kalyan’s entry. He will definitely split the anti-votes of the ruling party and this time it will favor TDP.

Edit: One of the chances of Jagan winning the elections is to have a back door deal with BJP, go to jail temporarily just before elections on one of the cases he was accused, showcasing BJP and TDP are responsible for his imprisonment, create a sympathy wave among the people and pull the votes.

TDP

Chandrababu Naidu has a great stature among the educated and the urban demography. People believe him for his hardwork and past achievements in bringing reforms in Administration. People were able to observe the Modi’s current Swach Bharath, Digital India programs in 1990s in the name of Janmabhoomi(Clean and Green), E-Seva(Online Govt Services) and bringing administration to the people with Prajala vaddaku Palana.

In his current tenure he was successful in

  • interlinking Krishna and Godavari
  • 24×7 power supply
  • Realtime Governance monitoring
  • Handling Hudhud cyclone
  • Convincing farmers to voluntarity give 33000 acres of land for the Construction of Capital City which has been the largest land pooling in the history of India
  • First state in India to start Single Window policy for investments
  • First Make in India product produced in AP
  • Stood in top 10 cleanest cities
  • Completion of Solar Electricity Plant in 4000 acres.
  • Acheiving 36 Gram Panchayats in top ten 82 villages in India and many more.

People still believe him as the messaih who can get the state out of mess. If he does not ally with any party before the elections and the current politics continues, I strongly believe he has the better chances of winning 2019 elections in AP.

WHO IS THE NEXT CM OF AP IN 2019

Well, according to many surveys and general public opinion, it is the current Chief-Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Hon’bleNara Chandra Babu Naidu rising to power once again, and he will flick his enemies like a bug on forearm on his way to the prestigious chair.

His enemies,

YS Jagan: the so-called Jagananna, the son of a factionist, the grandson of another great factionist, circled around courts and jails to cover up his, his father’s and his grandfather’s illegally procured property.

There is an excellent story behind then chief minister, Dr. Y S Rajashekhar Reddy’s death. The “factionist’s” arrogance couldn’t be contained inside when he won the second term chief minister of undivided Andhra. A power dispute with Sonia Gandhi and Ambani resulted in his getting into a chopper with a retired pilot, who was about to die from an advanced stage cancer. The chopper was carefully crashed in a strategic place where it was difficult to summon immediate help: the mighty Nallamalla forest. It took two days and military and media and volunteers to find the missing Chief Minister body hanging on a branch inside the dense forest.

The black box audio was never released. While a typical passenger flight takes hours of safety check-up before it runs on the runway, what could’ve possibly gone wrong in a VVVIP’s chopper? Why did a retired pilot who was about to die to receive the job? Was there nobody else? How did pilot’s incompetent sons end up big in reliance industries just after their father’s death? Why didn’t the helicopter crash near highways or populous places? Why did the chopper lose contact with Air traffic control?

People believe it was a murder. The then CM was murdered just like his father: The fearsome Rajireddy. A legend goes, when YSR was studying MBBS in Karnataka, a local student gang beat him bad. When the father got to know, he sent his loyal goons to kill them. It’s not uncommon in their home to kill people on a whim. They must kill to survive, they must kill for pride. And like every factionist, the mighty Rajireddy also lost his life to someone else’s revenge.
The point is to point out the factionist genes and upbringing that now govern Jagan’s behaviour. He openly stated in a public addressing that it is okay to burn Chandra Babu Naidu in the middle of a street. Another time, a local goon made his way through the security and pushed his sword into Jagan’s body. You see, Birds of a “factionist” feather, flock together.

It is very easy for him to pair up with Modi, trace the perpetrators behind his father’s death and let his “factionistic” juices flow out once he gets to power. People who grew up like him, amidst violence, revenge and stupidity, love his words and ideals. They are the people who vote for him and fortunately, they don’t make the majority. The majority of the state is soft-hearted and educated.

It’s no wonder mighty people get connected with more mighty people. Master strategist Mr Prashant kishor is the campaign runner for Jagan, and PK loves to follow the textbook. Jagan’s “Navarathnalu” concept was copied from Nitish’s “7 Resolves” campaign in Bihar elections. Door to door campaigning similar to Punjab, Bihar and Tanzania. Jagan’s sessions with ground level voters similar to Amarinder’s Coffee with Captain, Modi’s Chai pe charcha and Rahul Gandhi’s Khaat pe charcha. They couldn’t find a nice Telugu translation of those slogans so it’s just happening without a name. You want to know what Jagan’s next campaigning move? Just look at IPac’s previous work on their official website. IPac should’ve been contesting for the CM of Andhra Pradesh. Some of YSR’s policies, Arogyasree, Rs.2 per kilo rice and Indiramma homes deserve a honorary mention. 108 service was the best of its time and is now adopted by 15 different states across the country.

The second enemy, the most charming contestant for Chief minister, the youth icon Mr Pawan Kalyan. His brotherly bonding with Chiranjeevi is no less than Ram-Lakshman’s. Chiranjeevi stepped in films and so did his brother. Chiranjeevi conceived a party to change the fate of the state and so did his brother. Chiranjeevi earned a lot of cash and the little brother is right where the big brother was. Chiranjeevi got tired after a while and so will be the brother. These movie stars have grown too comfortable in their lavishness and it’s not unusual when little brother to looks up to big brother for guidance in life. If Pawan Kalyan was so concerned with changing the state’s fate, why did this concern or ambition never reflect in his movies? Why do all his movies revolve around young, pretty and fertile delicacies?

Cash making right?

Now we talk about our current chief minister Mr Chandra Babu Naidu, I’ll only finish with only one quality of his. He was backstabbed by a very powerful person, Mr Narendra Modi, as the prime minister’s political motives changed in the course of 4 years. It takes guts and experience to stand against giants while also holding a little, under-developed baby called ‘the bifurcated AndhraPradesh.’ And he did his job fine. He restored the infant’s self-esteem, lift up its morale and set it on a path to healthy development and happiness. It is better to entrust a new-born state to a person with “political” Curriculum Vitae instead of a factionist who might be carrying a factionist family legacy of untimely death or a Pop-actor who’s most of the adult life was concerned with sleeping around pretty women.
